Armani Exchange to Sponsor eSports Organization Mkers

A|X Armani Exchange has become the official jersey sponsor of Italian esports organization Mkers. The fashion brand revealed the partnership through their Twitter account where Mkers players have their uniforms branded with the A|X Armani Exchange logo.

A|X Armani Exchange was launched in 1991 in the U.S. It retails fashion and lifestyle products and is known for its occasionally provocative ad campaigns. Inspired by street-chic culture and dance music, it is targeted as the more accessible Armani brand.

“We are proud to be the first e-sports team chosen by a prestigious brand like A|X Armani Exchange,” said Mkers CEO Paolo Cisario. “It is a reward for all the effort sustained up until this moment, and it gives great credibility not just to us and the investors that believed in our project, but also to the entire Italian e-sports industry.

The team’s co-founder Thomas Degasperi have added that “partnering with such a relevant brand is the perfect opportunity to reinforce our journey toward internationalization, which has already begun with the acquisition of world-renowned athletes.”

The organization currently fields rosters in Starcraft II, Fifa 2019, Clash Royale, Street Fighter V, Rocket League, Gran Turismo Sport and Tennis World Tour.
